I started taking keyboard lessons when I was 16 years old. This is also when I started to write my own music.

After a while I wanted to try something new so I stopped playing the keyboard and started to take singing lessons . When I felt I was ready for the next step I went looking for a band. I came across Roelof and we decided to start a band together, which later on became Calaspia.
